How does it work?

01

Trigger

A transaction above the threshold or a new export customer kicks off the checks.

02

All sources at once

Sanctions lists, PEP, Chamber of Commerce, VIES and IBAN check run in parallel.

03

Risk score

A composite score: green, amber or red.

04

Recorded

The result and details are in the customer record, handy during audits.

What does this solve?

  • No manual look-ups on risky transactions
  • Sanctions list screening against UN, OFAC and EU
  • PEP detection (Politically Exposed Persons)
  • Chamber of Commerce, VIES, IBAN and address verification
  • Risk score within seconds
  • Complete audit trail per check

Automated checks on risky transactions

The KYC module automatically runs sanctions list, PEP, Chamber of Commerce, VIES and IBAN checks on risky transactions and gives a risk score within seconds.

For export outside the EU and large transactions you want to know whether a customer is genuinely OK. SellYourTruck runs the checks automatically and gives a risk score within seconds.

Since the EU sanctions against Russia, Belarus and Iran, screening is no longer a formality for anyone selling abroad, but a real risk. One wrong buyer can have major consequences. SellYourTruck takes that detective work off your hands by running the checks automatically at the moment that matters.

Which checks run automatically

The system screens against sanction lists (UN, OFAC, EU), detects PEPs (politically exposed persons) and validates KvK, VIES, IBAN and address, all in parallel. The checks start with a new export customer or a transaction above the threshold, without you having to think about it yourself.

A risk score within seconds

The individual results are summarised into a single risk score: green (go), orange (review) or red (stop). That way you see at a glance whether a transaction is safe or whether you'd better take a closer look, usually within five seconds.

Flag, not block

Important: the check does not block, it flags. You decide whether to proceed. Every check is recorded with a complete audit trail of the consideration, valuable for your own administration and if a regulator asks about it.

Part of the export flow

KYC works seamlessly with RDW and export: the check can run before you issue an export registration, so compliance is a fixed part of your process instead of a separate action afterwards.

In short

  • Sanctions list screening (UN, OFAC, EU)
  • PEP detection
  • Chamber of Commerce, VIES and IBAN validation

Frequently asked questions

Am I required to do KYC as a vehicle dealer?

For export outside the EU and large cash transactions, Wwft (Dutch AML) and sanctions rules apply. The checks in SellYourTruck help you comply, but final responsibility remains with you.

How fast is a check?

The checks run in parallel and together often take less than 5 seconds. You don't have to wait.

Does a red result block the transaction?

No: the check flags, it doesn't block. You decide whether to proceed, with an audit trail of the consideration.
